We know where we are. Here. And we know what Time it is. Now. So what can we do with this information? The purpose of the Stairs Into The Void is to open a new port of interaction for those interested in the possibilities available to conscious entities participating in what is commonly refered to as "Reality."
Some will find the discussion totally nonsensical, at first, but any dedicated seeker will quickly learn the local dialect. If you are totally unaware of the concept of synchromysticism, then it would be advisable to do a bit of research and I will do my best to provide links to other resources. That being said, this blog is not merely concerned with spreading currently held models of the mattergy(matter-energy spectrum)/consciousness interaction called Synchromysticism as it has been developed by Jake Kotze and a handful of others. While all wanderers are in debt to these pioneers, I feel that there is a new level of universal interactivity which we can achieve through applied group experimentation in the creation of cosmic feedback.
Some basic concepts which I take for granted (and which are amply illustrated in the Synchromystical Cannon):
1. The Universe, The Multiverse, Reality, Space-Time, Interdimensional "space," etc. is ultimately One Thing. While the nature of the Totality and the structures enabling the perception of Separateness are mysteries about which we can speculate, ultimately the sum of all things, non-things, potentials, infinitudes, etc. amounts to a Unity, an Everything. Reality and the Universe as discussed here are taken to mean all possible situtations and configurations of Being. There is no "Outside" of reality from this perspective, although there may be portions of reality to which we do not always have access.
2. Consciousness Exists. This assumption is borne out by self-referential anthro-centric philosophy. Consciousness is any awareness. Human consciousness is the dominant paridigm within our discussion because it is the Logos from which that discussion issues forth.
3. The Universe Possesses Consciousness. The nature of Universal Consciousness is entirely a subject for debate, however the existence of Universal Consciousness is taken for granted. Even if there exists no Consciousness outside of human consciousness, the Universe is the both source and subject of human consciousness. The fact that Consciousness exists in the Universe indicates that the Universe is in possession of at least the level of consciousness we possess/perceive.
4. Consciousness Effects The Universe. Observable on a macro level as any act of human consciousness has palpable effects on the mattergy associated with the conscious actor. We know that consciousness effects mattergy, because we can move our material bodies through conscious effort. A premise of Synchromysticism is the material and energetic effect of consciousness on micro, macro, and non-local vectors.
5. The Human Mind Employs A Symbolic Architecture. Symbols are the fundamental units through which thoughts are self-perceived. Language--that supposedly innately human technology--is entirely symbolic in structure and function. Thought is informed by language and symbol imagery systems built through experiences. While languages and symbol systems vary, we are concerned not with diffences in symbols but the similarities in the way symbols order consciousness and perception of individuals and groups.
